Belfast International Airport formerly known as Aldergrove Airport is the largest Airport in Ireland managing more than 4 million passengers through the terminals in 2010. The busiest international route from Belfast Airport is to Malaga Airport in Spain and the busiest domestic route being Liverpool Airport.
Belfast Airport has some fantastic car parking options for customers to choose from whether it’s long stay or short stay.
The Ulster Museum
The Ulster Museum features a wide variety of
treasures from the past and present.
With artifacts and exhibitions such as dinosaur relics, Egyptian mummies and stunning modern day art
collections make this museum a great day out for the family packed full of
fun and information for all ages.

The Carrickfergus Museum
reflects in great detail the history of the town and surrounding
districts. With a large variety of private and national collections
intertwined with fun interactive facilities. The Carrickfergus Museum is a
fantastic day out for the family. The museum also highlights a community
archive which conveys the local working and social history of the
borough. What makes this community archive great is the fact that
visitors can add their own information, photographs, memorabilia,
newspapers and much more to the collection.
There is also a cafe, bar,
restaurant and gift shop within the museum. Tour guides are also

Ormeau baths gallery
Home to Belfast’s
gallery scene, Lisbon Road is bursting with exciting chic chops, cafes
and bars. The city centre features the Ormeau baths gallery which is situated in
the former Victorian swimming baths, the gallery is one of the best
contemporary arts attraction in the region housing both collections of
the past and present.
Admission to the gallery is free and
wheelchair access is available through the Asprey Street entrance.

Help at the car park
Passengers with reduced mobility flying from Belfast Airport who require special assistance at the car park must either arrange help before arriving or locate one of the help points situated near the blue badge parking bays on arrival. Blue Badge holders are also entitled to a special discount, please go to the office for more information.
Prior to arriving at the Airport we recommend arranging special assistance by phone to prevent any delays. Wheelchair users who require help boarding the aircraft will need to arrange for specialist equipment around 48 hours before flying.
Help at the Airport
Belfast Airport has been designed with accessibility in mind. Lifts to all floors are clearly signed throughout the Airport, Toilets with wheelchair access are located throughout the terminal with emergency cords installed. Lowered kerbs for easy wheelchair access are located at the entrances and exits.
Disabled passengers with visual impairments can fly with guide dogs if they have been registered with the Pet Travel Scheme. Some airlines do do not allow you to fly with guide dogs so please check before flying.
If you require special assistance while in the Airport, help points are located throughout the terminals and are identifiable by yellow signage. When you have located a help point, press the button and you will be connected to the team.
